A route that takes you over Côte de Wanne from Trois-Ponts toward the isolated village of Logbiermé before heading down to the side skirts of Stavelot passing the Eddy Merckx monument on your left side at the cross section of the Stockeu climb.
Following the corniche road of La Vauxl you will have rolling km until the Mont-Le-Soie climb followed by Saint-Jacques and L’Ancienne Barrière.
From here you have a very long descend towards La Gleize before finishing your ride with the longest climb of all, Col du Rosier starting all the way down from Cheneux in the Amblève Valley.
If you need a refuel or coffee on the way there is a pastry in Grand Halleux KM 42, a Brasserie on top of l’Ancienne Barrière KM 55 and two nice place in La Gleize KM 68 ( Le Doux Ragots & Aux Ecuries de la Reine )
LEVEL : a very nice loop with mixed terrain and achievable for most riders based on the length and the type of climbs.
